Day 2 part 1 : Vancouver

I slept perfectly, that is until 3am …. time to check my e-mail :-). The rest of the night was OK, I was on and off. Breakfast at 08.30 with the French. The girl, they are both rather young, speaks English OK, should be with an American father, but the guy did not, he did not understand a lot of what was going on, must be a pity to miss that much.

During breakfast new guests arrived, two couples from New Zealand, so we had lot’s to talk about, especially after my visit to New Zealand last year.

I got me two tickets for the Sky Train to go into the center. The Sky Train operates without a driver, it’s interesting to see as you can sit in the front.

The weather is bad, raining Cats and Dogs, hopefully it is not adding to the sign I already got from the weather station. The guests from New Zealand did not see any rain … I will.

I went to Canada Place (that is the Pier) to check out the boat, as it was docked at 07.00 this morning. Yeah it is a biggy, will come back to that later.

After the visit I went to the Apple store as I needed to get me a international charger, as the one I did bring did not work. (At the boat I did not need, it has International connections).

Went back to the Light Heart B&B to get my stuff and returned with the Sky Train to board.

What an organization and how efficient, although getting into the US, you have to go through customs here, is again a time consuming exercise. Whatever I did on the Internet, as you have to fill in forms before, is gone … you have to do it all over again. At the end a picture and all fingerprints … will it help? I do not think so.
